Welcome to

Presence Practice Depth Group

for Practitioners

"When people ask me about my life,

close to top of the list of the good

is my experience of [Presence Practice].

I even dropped out of my other group,

as it didn't have the depth of emotional contact that [Presence Practice] has.

I feel really touched by all that [Vika] shares. [Her] humanity, intelligence and vulnerability keeps me coming each week.

And [her] willingness [as facilitator] to be ” imperfect” is a ... game changer for me.

I feel so grateful to be a part of this community.”

— M.R., retired therapist, Portland, OR

Are you a practitioner devoted to generating and holding resonant space that helps others heal and thrive? (therapist, coach, minister, bodyworker, chiropractor, teacher, etc.)

Is it hard for you to find luminous, attuned, skilled transformational space where you can receive support for your own personal growth and professional challenges? Where you can be fully met and powerfully held by peers ... with deep compassion, illuminating clarity, and life-giving, healthy boundaries?

Then Presence Practice Depth Group for Practitioners might be the very thing you've been longing for.

Presence Practice provides a depth and breadth of alchemical support far beyond what one-on-one sessions can offer, at a fraction of the investment.

This is because we human beings are designed to live embraced by a Village of belonging and mutual support.

We also experience the deepest healing when we’re held in a relational field of authentic, resonant, responsive connection.

Tragically, most of us are profoundly starved for one or both of these.

This is why healing that emerges through resonant community is so astonishingly powerful -- and why most of us have never fully experienced it.

This is how Presence Practice deepens and strengthens secure attachment -- that profound sense of welcome and belonging, where you can be truly at home and at ease being everything you are.

Presence Practice is for practitioners devoted to expanding their capacity to:

  • set and maintain healthy boundaries that respect others, while ensuring you safeguard and nourish your own thriving

  • discern your own essential, depleted life-needs that are most important for you to prioritize and nourish

  • request and fully take in the resonant empathy and attuned nourishment or support you wish to receive, during group time with skilled others that is 100% focused on you

  • experience emergent (rather than performative) compassion, which can only arise when you're sufficiently nourished, yourself

  • acknowledge and “turn towards” your own uncomfortable emotions and unwanted behaviors without feeling any shame; receive their hidden, alchemical gifts; and finally release old, persistent pain and patterns from the past

  • remain present, at authentic choice, and at peace in the midst of even the most challenging circumstances (both internal and external).

Come be nourished by this sensitively facilitated, profoundly safe, leader-full learning community where the facilitator (Vika) is also a participant.

Because being human doesn't get solved, and our greatest transformation happens when we all bring our equal humanity to the table.

Presence Practice includes a broad spectrum of distinctions, tools, methods, and processes (guided by participants’ requests and the facilitator’s suggestions), including:

  • resonant empathy (including resonantly  guessing feelings and needs)

  • reflection

  • somatic expression

  • somatic empathy

  • role-playing

  • exploring our inner landscape

  • Inner Parts Integration/Time Travel work

  • strategy brainstorming and exploration

  • and many others, including those brought by you and your fellow practitioner participants.

This enables you to contribute to the group, while also furthering your own professional development — and expanding the resources you bring to your clients.

PREREQUISITES – Essential Personal Readiness and Ongoing Commitments:

  • A profound commitment to practicing holding yourself and others with dignity, compassion, and shared humanity.

  • A belief that we are each ultimately responsible for our own well-being, and a sense of basic empowerment to meet our own needs, both through our own inner resources and through a willingness to request and receive the support of others.   (Please note: this is not a therapy group, it is a mutually supportive learning community.)

  • A willingness to build our capacity to shift … from blaming or judging ourselves or others, and being caught up in our self-protective stories … to compassionately, curiously discovering what is actually happening within ourselves and others. This includes looking within for the old, untended wounds (“broken toes”) that are the source of most of our upsets and reactivity.

  • A lived, ongoing commitment to a daily mindfulness practice (of any kind).

  • A capacity and willingness to notice and directly experience present-moment body sensations, feelings, thoughts, and impulses.

  • A lived commitment to maintaining a clear relational field between you and others in the group (including the facilitator), and requesting group-supported repair when something challenging takes up residence in that relational space.
